nice
God seeks after genuine worshippers who worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:21). The two words, spirit and truth, correspond to the how and the whom of worship. Worship is not merely an external act that you can accomplish by going to a place. Worship must come from your spirit within instead of being merely formal and external. In other words, it is not the location that makes an act of worship authentic. Worship must be vital and real from within. Worship is first and foremost an experience of the heart. Prayer without heart is vain. How you worship is vastly more important than where. To worship in truth requires us to worship based on a true perception of God. Together the words "spirit and truth" mean that real worship comes from the spirit within and is based on true views of God. A Quote on Worship. Worship is the loving ascription of praise to God for what he is in himself and in his providential dealings. It is the bowing of our innermost spirit before him in deepest humility and reverence. Worship is the adoring contemplation of God as he has been pleased to reveal himself in his Son and in the Scriptures. - J. Oswald Sanders ~!*~ I will be Still & know u are God ~*!~

nicely done
We've heard that worship is a lifestyle. But what exactly does that entail? We have read books and heard sermons ABOUT worship. But what exactly is it in God's terms? Worship takes on many forms. The highest form of worship we can give is our OBEDIENCE. 1SA 15:22 But Samuel replied: "Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. " ROMANS 12:1 '...offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.' MT 7:21 'Not everyone who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.' DO IT RIGHT ! · Now that you've understood the definition of worship, let it transform your mind. The lyrics you sing will now bear stronger significances. · All other forms of worship MUST stem from obedience. · Your worship to God will never be the same. "I was made to praise you. I was made to glorify your name, in every circumstance to find a chance to thank you. I was made to love you. I was made to worship at your feet and to obey you Lord. I was made for you." ~!*~ I will be Still & know u are God ~*!~
